「同理心」畫展‧Art of Empathy
回憶起過去，他絕望地低聲抱怨
在窗前，我們都在遠眺
在街上，太陽正在照耀
對於這個男人，世界上的一切只有黑與白
Thinking about the past, he murmurs in despair
At the window, we both stare
On the street, the sun is shining bright
To the Man, everything is just black and white
繪畫的過程讓我們有機會與病人換位思考。我們要感受病人所承受的痛楚和磨難才能創作此題材的畫作。同時，創作的過程亦令我更加人性化。我意識到作為一個醫護人員，我的職責不是簡單地治療和管理疾病。病人不關心他們血壓的高低，但是他們擔心服用血壓藥後的暈眩感。“醫生，食咗你開嘅藥之後我成日咳。”這句話不僅僅是對藥物副作用的描述，它的背後，隱藏了很多病人的感受。他們可能擔憂副作用，被咳嗽困擾，害怕吃藥等等。當你去用心感受病人的感受，所有事情都是可能的。
Pain can be a cold word that lies indifferently on the screen showing patient’s record. However, it means much more when you really think about how pain feels like…. Patients do not care what their blood pressures are like. But they care about the dizziness that they have after taking hypertensive.
