「同理心」畫展‧Art of Empathy

她描述確診紅斑狼瘡後的日子很艱苦但又很快樂，因為疾病本身和它的併發症帶來痛苦，但是因為有了她家人的支持與厚愛，她很享受這些日子。她的經驗提醒我一個非常重要的信息－疾病本身當然帶來很多痛苦，但最重要的是它意想不到的「副作用」，例如重拾家庭融洽的關係。多得這個工作坊，我對疾病的感情將不再是局限在痛苦黑暗的一面，而是充滿希望和快樂。

 

She even described the days after the diagnosis of SLE were tough yet joyful in the sense that the disease itself and its numerous complications brought her much pain but, with the support and love from her family, she actually enjoyed these days a lot. Her experience reminded me of one very important message – disease itself of coz brings much pain, but what is most important it’s the unexpected ‘side effects’ come along, for instance, regaining family bonding. Thanks to this art workshop, my feelings on diseases would no longer be confined to the painful dark side, but its other side with hope and happiness as well.
