「同理心」畫展‧Art of Empathy

痛不是一種情緒，而是一種結果。痛可能並不一定會折磨人。折磨是不同因素結合而成的難受… 看到其他人的畫和詩，有些是非常具體的，有臨床為基礎的，而有些是抽象的和情感的。即使同樣以痛苦和折磨作主題，我無法認同所有的作品，設身處地去感受所提及的情感。我只能認同痛苦確實以許多不同的形式存在。

 

Pain is not an emotion, but an impact. Pain may not necessarily lead to suffering. Suffering is a combination of factors that induce a hard-feeling… Looking at the paintings and poems, some are very concrete and clinical-based, while some are abstract and emotional. Even based on the same topic of pain and suffering, I cannot appreciate all the pieces and put myself into the emotion described. I can only appreciate that pain and suffering do exist in many different forms.
