「同理心」畫展‧Art of Empathy

Description　Our role in the medical profession involves a lot of thinking, deduction on both scientific and philosophical aspects. The character in my painting is sitting surrounded by the dark – the darkness resembles difficulties in our path, troubles… and also how sometimes it can feel lonely in our search for knowledge. But as we learn, we are empowered by our experiences – hence the glowing light.

Reflection　Just like in the painting, I feel a bit alone in my struggles – although I do believe my peers, family and my own enthusiasm in medicine will support through my way to becoming a doctor.
